Based in the heart of the Okanagan and located in the community of Kelowna, Duane has over 30 years of investing and corporate business experience. He is a graduate of Simon Fraser University with a BBA in Marketing and Economics, and he has his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^® (CFP) designation, which gives him the technical experience to be successful in the industry.

After working in various corporate positions, Duane joined IG Wealth Management in 2008. Originally based in Vancouver, he moved back to his hometown of Kelowna in 2017, where in 2021 he was nominated for Kelowna’s Top 40 over 40. Duane has built a reputation for attentive, client-focused service and valued advice. He has also been a Division Manager since 2011, and is tasked with hiring, training & preparing newer IG Consultants for success.

During the warm months Duane likes to spend time on the golf courses in the Okanagan and tour the many wineries. During the cold months, you can find him enjoying the champagne powder on the slopes of Big White with his wife Olga and daughter Sofia.
